Marna’s Voice – A Work In Progess
Welcome to Marna’s Voice
Hi! My name is Marna. Welcome to my eclectic blog. I am a retired teacher, having spent forty-two years in education. Some of those were at the district level and some of them were with a private education company. I spent my most satisfying and joyful years in elementary classrooms, though, and will always consider myself a classroom teacher.
I am a mom of two, a grandmother of three, and the widow of a man who made my life wonderful. Losing John meant I had to reinvent my life, so I plunged into the world of writing. This blog seemed like a logical next step. It gives me a place to publish some of my work, and to challenge myself with the process. I hope you’ll join me on this journey as I recall the past, wrestle with the present, and work toward the future.
Take care of yourself,
MARNA Jones Hopkins
